Germany: Ham radio decline continues

German regulator *BNetzA* reports the number of Radio Amateurs slumped in
2019 falling by 1406

The figures for individual radio amateur licenses are:
2017 total 64,548 (56,918 Klasse A and 7,630 Klasse E)
2018 total 64,476 (56,619 Klasse A and 7,857 Klasse E)
2019 total 63,070 (55,227 Klasse A and 7,843 Klasse E)

Klasse A is equivalent to CEPT Class 1 (UK Full) permitting up to 750 watts
PEP output and Klasse E is equivalent to CEPT Novice (UK Intermediate)
permitting up to 100 watts PEP.
