Ham radio in Denmark
Denmark has three levels of amateur radio license, a CEPT Class 1
equivalent, a CEPT Novice equivalent and a 50 watt Entry Level VHF/UHF
license
Exam requirements:
Class D (Entry Level) 15 questions correct in a 20 question Rules/Regs exam
Class B (CEPT Novice) 12 questions correct in a 16 question exam
Class A (CEPT Class 1) 10 questions correct in a 14 question exam
The 20 question Entry Level License permits 50 watts output in the 50, 144,
432 and 1240 MHz bands and 25 watts output on 70 MHz.
On then passing the 16 question Class B exam the holder can run 100 watts
on the HF bands and that increases to 1 kW when the additional 14 question
Class A exam is passed.
