Presentation by CubeSat Transponder designer

William Leijenaar PE1RAH will be giving a presentation on his innovative CubeSat sized linear transponder to the AMSAT-UK International Space Colloquium in Guildford, England on Saturday July 31, which is being webcast live.

William PE1RAH was responsible for one of the 435/145 transponders used on the Amateur Satellite VUSAT (VO-52) and has since developed a 300mW PEP linear CW/SSB transponder that runs from a 3.6 volt battery and is small enough to fit into a Cubesat.

He also built the transponder that was carried by a balloon launched from the recent HAM RADIO 2010 event in Friedrichshafen..

The presentation is scheduled to run from 1350-1430 BST (1250-1330 GMT) on Saturday July 31 and will be webcast live at http://www.batc.tv/ (Click on Live Events)
