<H1>Presentation by CubeSat Transponder designer</H1>
<P><FONT face=Tahoma><STRONG>William Leijenaar PE1RAH</STRONG> will be giving a
presentation on his innovative CubeSat sized linear transponder to the
<STRONG>AMSAT-UK International Space Colloquium</STRONG> in Guildford, England
on Saturday July 31, which is being webcast live.</FONT></P>
<P><FONT face=Tahoma>William PE1RAH was responsible for one of the
<STRONG>435/145 transponders</STRONG> used on the Amateur Satellite VUSAT
(VO-52) and has since developed a<STRONG> 300mW PEP linear CW/SSB
transponder</STRONG> that runs from a <STRONG>3.6 volt battery</STRONG> and is
small enough to fit into a Cubesat.</FONT></P>
<P><FONT face=Tahoma>He also built the transponder that was carried by a balloon
launched from the recent HAM RADIO 2010 event in Friedrichshafen..</FONT></P>
