Videos of what is believed to be first transmission of the new Digital Radio standard DRM+ are now available on YouTube.

DRM+ is the new digital broadcast mode that in time will probably replace FM in the 88-108 MHz band. It is more spectrally efficient than FM and could result in listeners having a choice of 4 times the number of stations currently available in that band.

The YouTube description of the videos says:

Worldwide first transmission and receiving of a DRM+ audio signal with a complete realtime transmission chain on 87.6 MHz in the field trail in Kaiserslautern (Germany)
