Germany: 2018 ham radio license statistics

Germany's Federal Network Agency, BNetzA, has released the amateur radio
licence and exams statistics for 2018

They show that on December 31, 2018 Germany had 56,619 Class A and 7,857
Class E licenses this is broadly similar to the 2017 totals.
These figures are for individual amateurs and exclude Club, Repeater and
Training Licences.

That year 216 people took the Class A Exam, 537 the Class E and 254
upgraded from Class E to Class A.
