ARLA/CLUSTER: Commemorations of the Freedom Day (25 April) in Portugal

 Freedom Day (25 April) in Portugal is a national holiday, with
state-sponsored and spontaneous commemorations of the civil liberties
and political freedoms achieved after the revolution. It commemorates
the 25 April 1974 coup and Portugal's first free elections on that
date the following year.

The Association of Amateurs Radio of the Lisbon Region (ARRLx -
Associação de Radioamadores da Região de Lisboa) and the 25 of  April
Association (A25A - Associação 25 de Abril), will commemorate the 45th
Anniversary of the 25th of April, the revolution Freedom Day, with an
exhibition of military, Amateur and CB radios stations used in the
1970s.

We will have some equipment in operation, the amateur station CS25MFA
and the CB station "Liberdade", will be active from April 23 to 27,
from 13:00 to 19:00 local time (UTC +1), except on the 25th and 27th
that will be active and open to the public from 09:00 to 19:30 local
time (UTC +1). The Exhibition will be open to the public at the
headquarters of the 25 April Association at Rua da Misericórdia, 95 in
Lisbon (at Chiado zone in capital of Portugal).

All colleagues who make contact with the stations received a
commemorative QSL Card. The amateur station CS25MFA will be active in
the 40 and 20 meters bands and the CB station on channel 16 (27 155
kHz) in LSB.

All colleagues are logically invited to visit the exhibition and
participate in the broadcasts.
