Strength rating system for fibreglass masts

Telescopic fiberglass masts are a popular option for portable antenna
supports. However as they vary widely in strength and stiffness, it can be
hard to compare them. SOTABEAMS has developed a simple metric that allows
an objective comparison to be made.

The *SOTABEAMS Mast Rating System* (SBMRS) uses the length and the weight
of the mast to calculate a strength figure for a mast.


This makes it very easy to compare different products.
