Missing copies of Morsum Magnificat now available for free download

All copies of the English language version of *Morsum Magnificat*, the
Morse Magazine, are now available for free download from the Internet.

Initially 16 issues were missing but these have now been posted and copies
of the entire 89 issues from 1986 to 2004 can be downloaded from:
http://www.n7cfo.com/tgph/Dwnlds/mm/mm.htm

Special thanks go to Mike Feher N4FS for providing the missing issues and
to Randy Cole KN6W for scanning them.

The new downloads also include:
The Story of the Key: The Best of MM-1, by Louise Ramsey Moreau W3WRE,
including a list of American Telegraph Instrument Makers 1837-1900 compiled
by Roger Reinke.

Key WT 8 Amp Worldwide Survey: The Best of MM–2, by Tony Smith G4FAI, an
updated and revised version of the 54-page booklet which provides much
information about this famous pre-WW2, wartime and post-war military Morse
key, of which there were over 100 versions made in six countries.

The MM Q & Z Codebook, (in English), compiled by Rinus Hellemons PA0BFN and
Dick Kraayveld PA3ALM, publishers of the original Dutch version of MM. The
codebook lists all Q & Z codes in all their original applications,
including a copy of the original one-page Q-code of 1912.

There has been an enthusiastic reaction to the initial launch of the free
downloads with over 5,000 “hits†on the website in less than three weeks.
The 89 issues of MM contain well over 4,000 printed pages covering all
aspects of Morse telegraphy past, present and future. It is hoped that the
free release of this vast resource will help to stimulate and maintain
interest among today’s Morse enthusiasts. Thirteen years after it ceased
publication MM is still Flying the Flag for Morse!

Thanks to the permission of the copyright holder, Zyg Nilski G3OKD, and the
generosity of Lynn Burlingame N7CFO in hosting the MM issues and
publications on his N7CFO website, they can be downloaded in PDF format
from: http://www.n7cfo.com/tgph/Dwnlds/mm/mm.htm

PLEASE NOTE: Any copy of MM or associated publication downloaded from this
website is made available for personal use only. It may not be downloaded
or distributed for any commercial purpose whatsoever.
