Hello Operators.

The topic of this week's video is automatic link establishment or ALE. This
time I'm presenting an ALE compatible Broadband terminated dipole antenna.

You see, ALE has a unique frequency hopping functionality, which when using
PC-ALE or MARS-ALE software, with an HF rig having no ALE compatible
antenna tuner, requires some sort of rapid tuning or no-tuning antenna
system.

The antenna presented is the CHA TD, from Chameleon Antenna. The CHA TD is
a 160-6M Broadband terminated dipole, which can be used effectively,
without an antenna tuner. The video explains the frequency hopping aspect
of ALE, how the broadband terminated dipole addresses this problem, finally
we do some SWR measurements on the CHA TD, to see if it really is a "no
tuner" antenna.

As always, links to background info and supporting articles from oh8stn.org,
can be found in the video description.
