The RSGB has congratulated radio amateur *Joe Ludlow GW3ZTH* on his
achievement in getting through to the live BBC TV show MasterChef

On its Twitter account @theRSGB <https://twitter.com/thersgb> the Society
said:
*"Congratulations Joe, GW3ZTH on getting through the tough application
process and making it to the live #MasterChefUK show!"*

The Daily Express newspaper reported that viewers had slammed the
MasterChef show for ageism when Joe was subsequently eliminated.
The paper said *"he won a place in the hearts of the people watching at
home"*

In the early 1970's Joe GW3ZTH and GW8EHK published a design for a
high-power linear amplifier for 144 MHz in Short Wave Magazine Vol 31 No
