Frequency movie to be TV series

The Den of Geeks report The CW Television Network plans to make a TV series
based on the amateur radio themed movie *Frequency*

As in the movie, a young ham radio enthusiast - this time a female police
detective named Raimy in 2016 - discovers she can use her radio to
communicate with her estranged father, Frank Sullivan, played by Riley
Smith. The twist, of course, is that her father - also a detective - died
in 1996, and their communication somehow spans the gulf of time.
