ARLA/CLUSTER: 17 radioamadores irlandeses obtém acesso imediato à licença HAREC em exame (equivalente à categoria 1 em Portugal)

Tal como em Espanha, na Irlanda existe uma única categoria que dá
acesso imediato, em caso de aprovação, à licença HAREC CEPT (categoria
1). O Reino Unido, segue como em Portugal, basicamente as
recomendações da CEPT, com 3 classes (Licence class in UK : Foundation
Licence (categoria 3): Intermediate Licence (Categoria 2); Full
Licence (Categoria 1)

Eire Ham Radio Licence Exam

The IRTS report that just 17 candidates sat the radio amateurs exam in May

Amateur radio exams in Eire, population 4.6 million, are held twice a
year. There is only a single HAREC compatible licence class which
requires a pass in a 60 question multiple choice exam. Unlike the UK
there are no practical assessments.

The IRTS report:

Seventeen applicants sat the examination on 22nd May over morning and
afternoon sessions. Fifteen of these passed the examination and the
results were, as usual, issued quickly. This is the highest number
that passed an examination since IRTS took over responsibility for the
examination.
