IARUMS Newsletter released

The IARU Monitoring System (IARUMS) newsletter reports on action
against illegal Brazillian Hanglider and Paraglider communications on
144-148 MHz and a French intruder on 40m

The 7166 kHz A1A (CW) long transmissions every Wednesday afternoon
from France are identified as FAV22 and comprise encrypted five letter
groups. The source is understood to be CSTEI, the Centre for
Telecommunication and Specialized Data Processing (Norm M51).
HB9CET informed BAKOM and DK2OM the German PTT. Bearings by the German
PTT were showing Vernon, NW of Paris.
