CCW SDR-4+ receiver now covers 6m

Cross Country Wireless are releasing a new version of the SDR-4+ receiver.

Following recent customer requests and development work on a new project, the frequency coverage of the new receiver version has been extended to 55 MHz.

There are also several other improvements to the receiver taking advantage of new IC developments to upgrade the USB sound card and other stages.

The antenna isolation transformer has also been upgraded to 2 kV rated isolation but the 450 ohm antenna ports had to go to improve RF performance on the 6m amateur band.

With the E-PHEMT RF front end the receiver is excellent on the 6m amateur band and we've had a lot of fun with the development receiver listening and working sporadic E around Europe on 6m.
