Several 434 MHz balloons launch today

A number of High Altitude Balloons carrying 434 MHz transmitters plan
to launch on Saturday, April 20.

The 434 MHz telemetry beacons may have a range of up to 500 km
depending on the altitude.

NSE plans to launch on Saturday, April 20 at 9am from Bicknacre,
Chelmsford, Essex, UK. (51.697567, 0.582726)

 Payloads:
 NSE: 434.650MHz, 50 baud, 425hz shift, ASCII-7, 2 stop bits, no parity
 CHEAPO: 434.300MHz, 50 baud, 425hz shift, ASCII-7, 2 stop bits, no parity

Only a small balloon so they are expecting a flight time of ~2hrs and
an altitude of 20km
 Target ascent rate: 6m/s
Predicted descent rate: about 5m/s. Trackers would be much
appreciated for the flight :)

Two students from Queen Mary University are planning to launch a
434.650 MHz balloon QMULS1 on Saturday, April 20 at 3pm They intend to
launch from the Elsworth Site near Cambridge.

This is the specification for their payload:
 Call Sign: QMULS1
 Frequency: 434.650 MHz
 Carrier Shift: 650Hz
 Baud Rate: 50
Coding: 7 bits ASCII, no parity and 2 stop bits

The AURA balloon plan to launch on Saturday, April 20 at 11:15am from
Great Malvern.

Because of the clash of frequencies between AURA and NSE, they will
hold off launch until NSE1 has landed. Trackers would be very much
appreciated.
