French radio ham gets Thai licence

Maurice, F5NQL, reports that Alain, F6HBR, has been living in Thailand
since 2006. After seven years of negotiations between France and
Thailand, a reciprocal agreement has been signed during last December
2011.

So as of April 25th, and for the first time, a French operator has
received a Thai license. Alain, F6HBR, (ex-FO8FW & FR5EM) is now
HS0ZKG.

Look for Alain to be active mainly on CW, and on a little PSK and RTTY
from Koh Samui (AS-101). More information is to follow.

A second French ham is living in Thailand -- Gerald, F8DEG. He is
expected to be the second French ham signing HS0Z??.
