ILLW heads towards a new record

With 11 months to go to the third weekend in August 2012, some 70 have
already registered, almost instantly after the International
Lighthouse & Lightship weekend opened.

There was a record number of 470 this year from 55 countries. The next
event has entrants from Argentina, Australia, Denmark, England,
France, Germany, Honduras, Italy, Netherland, New Zealand, Poland,
Scotland, Sweden, USA and Wales.

The fun weekend continues to grow and it’s no surprise that those
already listed make an early commitment to show their strong support.

It will be held on August 18 and 19, 2012. The website illw.net is
well worth a visit to read the reports of activations held this year,
there is also a facebook page with more than 1,000 fans, plus online
registration.
