IARU Region 1 President to hold Webinar on General Conference

A webinar about the recent IARU Region 1 General Conference will be
held 0930 GMT on Thursday, September 22.

IARU Region 1 say:

IARU Region 1 President Hans Blondeel Timmerman will inform the
members of the CEPT Working Group Regulatory Affairs (WGRA) on
Thursday, 22 September 2011 between 1130 and 1230 CEST (0930 to 1130
UTC) on the results of the IARU Region 1 General Conference, held from
13 to 18 August 2011 in Sun City, South Africa.

All radio amateurs in Region 1 and beyond interested can follow his
presentation and the discussion at the WGRA meeting in Prague via the
Webinar (Web Seminar) facility of CEPT. Virtual participants will also
be able to ask questions to the presenter in the Questions & Answers
session following the presentation.

The Webinar is be open to all interested parties, however prior
registration is necessary to attend it, according to CEPT. Interested
parties can register at the following URL:

There are no special system requirements to particpate in the Webinar.
