Azores team in Iceland for IOTA contest

Three ham radio operators from the Azores IOTA Contest Team together with TF8GX will run the IOTA contest 2010 from Vestmannaeyjar Island (EU-071) located southwest of Iceland.

Franz, TF/DF6QV, his XYL Ulla, Juergen, TF/DJ2VO, and Lutz, TF/DL9DAN, with Sabine, TF/DO4YSN, will activate the island before and after the contest.

They will work with two stations in CW, SSB and digital modes on 10m-160m from Jul 18-27.

During the contest they will sign TF7X together with Gulli, TF8GX.
