Haiti quake provides lessons for USC

A news report from the University of Southern California (USC) says lessons can be learned from the Haiti quake and Amateur Radio could be a critical resource.

The report says:

"Amateur radio could be a critical resource. USC has established an amateur radio emergency team, and more members are needed", the USC's William Regensburger said.

"In Haiti, when all other forms of communication were down, amateur radios provided critical links to survival."
