ARLA/CLUSTER: Nova recomendação sobre Repetidores D-Star na 53ª Edição das Newsletter da IARU-R1

Em relação aos repetidores D-Star é referido:
Na última conferência, a transmissão de voz digital foi implantada nos Planos de Banda. Como é salientado em boletins anteriores, em alguns países, repetidores D-Star são instalados sem coordenação. Esta situação é agravada pelo facto de em alguns destes é usado um conjunto arbitrário de desfasamentos "repeater split"  criando assim interferências na sub-banda de satélites.

Será portanto pedido a todos os coordenadores de VHF dos diferentes países, solicitar junto dos responsáveis por esses repetidores para que adiram aos segmentos determinados nos planos de banda da IARU Região 1.  Sempre que um novo repetidor D-Star é instalado em 2m, deve-se equacionar a possibilidade de desligar um repetidor analógico no respectivo segmento.

Edition 53 of the International Amateur Radio Union (IARU) Region 1 VHF/UHF/uW newsletter is now available on the web, and it highlights the need to adhere to band plans.

With regards to D-STAR repeaters it says:
In the last conference, the transmission of digital voice was implemented into the bandplans. As pointed out in previous newsletters, in some countries, D-Star repeaters are set up without co-ordination. This is aggravated by the fact that some of these use arbitrary set-offs and thus create interference in the satellite sub-band.

Will, therefore, all VHF Managers take appropriate action to ask the repeater operators to adhere to the IARU frequency plans. Whenever a new 2m D-Star repeater is set up, existing analogue repeaters must be switched off. I do recognize the need to support further developments in the field of digital voice communication.

The newsletter also contains the VHF/UHF/Microwave papers that will be submitted to the Region 1 Vienna conference February 20-21.
