Radio Telescope Dwingeloo, Holland
PI9CAM 432/1296 MHz Moon Bounce April 18

PI9CAM uses the 25m dish of the Dwingeloo observatory and they will be looking for Earth-Moon-Earth (EME) contacts on Sunday, April 18.

Located in the Netherlands in grid square JO32ET the magnificent 25 metre dish was built in 1956. At that time it was the only fully rotatable radio telescope of that size in the world. The dish and housing weigh 120.000 kg. F/D of the dish is 0.5. Further information at
http://www.camras.nl/index.php?lang=en

The operating times will be Sunday, April 18, 0730 - 2100 UTC and they will be running:
23 cm: 65 W @ feed
70 cm: 300 W @ feed

They are especially for stations on 70 cm who are trying to work Arecibo. Maybe you can work them too! One good Yagi and 25 W is enough using the WSJT software JT65b.

They will be on the HB9Q EME Logger at
