The UK Government plans to switch off peoples' favourite AM and FM radio stations in a few year's time and restrict broadcasting to VHF DAB.

The BBC, a keen DAB promoter, has put a news report about DAB car radio reception on their website.

The result of the short test drive would appear to indicate that DAB mobile coverage can be patchy.
