ARLA/CLUSTER: Contagem decrescente para o JOTA 2008, dias 18 e 19 de Outubro.

Caros Colegas,

A contagem decrescente já começou para a 51ª edição do JOTA - Jamboree-on-the-Air ou Jamboree no Ar e a 12ª JOTI - Jamboree On The Internet que vão decorrer nos dias 18 e 19 de Outubro de 2008.

Os principais organizadores do Jamboree no Ar, para Portugal, no ano transacto foram os colegas:
- António Silva (CT1DJE) por parte do CNE - Corpo Nacional de Escutas(e-mail para contacto: ct1dje  sapo.pt)
- José Araújo (CT1DSV) por parte da AEP - Associação dos Escoteiros de Portugal(e-mail para contacto: jotajoti  escoteiros.net)

Outra informação importante, foi o compromisso alcançado pela organização do Worked All Germany Contest, de não utilizar os mesmos segmentos destinados ao Jamboree-on-the-Air, que se transcreve:

JOTA frequencies agreement

Most Amateur Radio societies agreed long ago not to conduct contests on the JOTA weekend, however during the JOTA weekend there is unfortunately one exception.

However, we're happy to announce that an agreement has been reached with the organizers of the Worked All Germany contest on the use of amateur radio frequencies during the JOTA.

The German contest stations will not operate in the following segments:

  3650 - 3700 kHz
  7080 - 7140 kHz
14100 - 14125 and
14280 - 14350 kHz
21350 - 21450 kHz
28225 - 28400 kHz.

This leaves all World Scout Frequencies in the clear !!
