Petrus has only been home for a few weeks since departing Bouvet Island. Not content with airing DXCC most wanted #5, Petrus has another treat in store this time!

ZS8T will be on Marion Island for over one year as expedition leader for the South African National Antarctic Program. Marion is #6 in the most wanted survey (2007)

Unlike Bouvet Island where Petrus used loaned equipment (IC-735 and 4BTV vertical) this time the team behind ZS8T <http://zs8t.net/the-team-behind-zs8t/> have pulled out all the stops to load Petrus with radio goodies.

On Marion Island will be a Spiderbeam antenna, SteppIR vertical for LF, IC-7000 radio, an amplifier, RTTY capabilites and a whole lot more<http://zs8t.net/radio-equipment-on-marion-island/>.

DIRECT:

Include a SAE plus $2 for postage, or at least one "New Type" IRC (Please ensure that any IRC's sent, have an expiry date of 31st Dec 2009 and are stamped from your post service)

Please do not send Postage Stamps or Currencies other than US$( Euro Notes accepted, but NOT coins)

Any requests without enough postage or not self addressed envelope will be returned via the Bureau

Any extra funds are most welcome!!!
