till 1000), but same menu evenings, i.e. 1700-2400, with the last hour for
Castilian prgr.  1550 kHz remains the only alternative here after dark as we

1566 kHz FEBC stn HLAZ, Jeju, has been audible most evenings, e.g. 19 Oct,
1736-1803, Russian, talks, songs; 34342, QRM de G, but quite better
reception on occasions.  It's also prettly audible later in the evening

MADAGASCAR
5010 kHz R.Nasionaly Malagasy, Ambohidrano, typically a hard catch here,
putting a formidable signal this time, viz. 1737-1820, 21 Oct, Malagasy,
talks in some phone-in prgr, then vy. poor by 1815; 34443.  Their signal was

6010 kHz R.Mil, Cd. de Méjico, logged 0748-f/out 0855, 26 Oct, Spanish,

NEW ZEALAND
7145 kHz R.NZi, Rangitaiki, 1611-1750*, 26 Oct, English, weather forecast,
Natl. R. prgr/ing, Maori songs, IS (stronger QSA thenceforth), music, news,
etc; 43443.  At around 1630, the signal seemed to have vannished and at the
same time replaced by DRM, either a mixup at the tx site or another stn

783 kHz R.Damascus, Tartus, flatenning all the audible stns on this fq,
1825-1847, 26 Oct, Russian prgr, pops, ID prior to 1830 newscast followed by
