The longest path recorded with the FT8 digital mode seems to have been from D4VHF to SP5MXU in Warsaw, a distance of just over 5,600kms.</p><p style="box-sizing:border-box">To put that into context, the same distance from Cape Verde Islands to the north would reach as far as Oslo, the capital of Norway or far to the north of the whole island of Iceland.
