However, operation in Portugal is only permitted with the special authorization of the Portuguese regulator ANACOM, as the band is shared with the military.<br><br>The WRC-15 frequencies and the still authorized older frequencies 5288.5 kHz, 5371.5 kHz, 5380.5 kHz and 5403.5 kHz are not covered by the CEPT licenses in Portugal. All stations that operate as a CT7 / Callsign / P radio, therefore, send illegally on the 60-m band, unless they have specifically received permission to do so. This also applies to CT8 (CEPT licenses for the Azores) and CT9 (CEPT licenses for Madeira).
