It has now been confirmed that Ofcom are also making the 2E0xx (2x2) call block available to those passing Intermediate.<br style="box-sizing:border-box"><br style="box-sizing:border-box">Short callsigns are greatly prized by radio amateurs and it is thought this move could lead to many more people taking the Intermediate and Advanced exams.<br style="box-sizing:border-box"><br style="box-sizing:border-box">News of the change for Advanced was broken by M5ET at the RSGB Convention in Milton Keynes last weekend.
