Yesterday we finished our GHz activities in CT and prepare
today the return of
the equipment to DL. Exciting, sunny days on the Foia are
passed with partly
notable successes. We have gained a lot of knowledge in the 10
GHz band and
performed revealing test series and finished with successful
QSOs. Our prepared
23 cm Power Rig, failed early on due to a technical fault and
we could only
make a few connections on 23 cm with the replacement QRP rig.</span></p><p class="MsoNormal"><span lang="EN"><br>
We had a lot of joy and fun in our common hobby and thank all
participating
radio amateurs, which contributed to the successful
performance of the test
program, helped and supported us. </span></p><p class="MsoNormal"><span lang="EN"><br></span></p><p class="MsoNormal"><span lang="EN">Our special thanks also to
the presidency of
the ARLA, which has supported us. Specifically CT4RK OM Carlos
Mourato worked
over charge for us and is instrumental in the overall success.
Together you
have, dear OMs, all helped to complete our small GHz
-expedition with
satisfactory results.</span></p><p class="MsoNormal"><span lang="EN"><br>
We are happy to stay in CT in the future again, to be then
temporarily <span> </span>QRV again
in even higher GHz bands.</span></p><p class="MsoNormal"><span lang="EN"><br>
Many thanks for the hospitality and support in finding a site
for optimal radio
spots. </span></p><p class="MsoNormal"><span lang="EN"><br></span></p><p class="MsoNormal"><span lang="EN">We have had very nice days in Portugal - Obrigado -<br>
