Chegou a hora! Cientistas de diversas áreas precisam da sua ajuda em várias tarefas que vão desde a classificação de galáxias à contagem de pinguins. Hoje em dia a ciência cidadã é uma realidade, permitindo a qualquer pessoa contribuir para a investigação científica
e aprender mais sobre ciência no processo.<br>
Nesta palestra irei apresentar, de forma interativa, vários projetos de ciência cidadã em astronomia e os seus respetivos métodos. Venha classificar e procurar novas galáxias usando algumas das imagens mais profundas do Universo ou encontrar planetas em torno

Hugo Messias é Licenciado em Física (ramo Astronomia e Astrofísica) pela Faculdade de Ciências da Universidade de Lisboa, e doutorado em Astronomia e Astrofísica pela Universidade de Lisboa sob orientação de José Afonso e Bahram Mobasher. Atualmente é investigador
do Instituto de Astrofísica e Ciências do Espaço e cientista principal do Centro Português de Competências ALMA (Atacama Large Millimeter Array – o maior radiotelescópio do mundo que já nos revelou grandes descobertas). O Hugo gosta de fazer chegar a ciência
a todos! Tendo ainda como paixão o Judo, fez parte da equipa que ganhou o Campeonato Nacional de Equipas 2015.<u></u><u></u></p>
