Icom Japan has announced that a new version of firmware (Release E2) will be available for download as of January 14, 2014<br>
The DSP firmware update corrects the IC-7100's DTMF tone level<br>
"DSP | 1.01" will be shown on the screen after this firmware upgrade.<br>
<br>
To verify the firmware version as follows:<br>
1 Push SET to enter Set mode<br>
2. Touch the version item of the "Others" Set mode item<br>
3 Confirm the current versions<br>
4 Push SET to exit the Set mode<br>
<br>
Before updating the firmware, download the updates installation guide using the link on the firmware update page<br>
Remember, this will be available from Jan 14, 2014<br>
