Last operation was in 2007 using the callsign <b>AN8TID</b>. <o:p></o:p></span></p><p><span lang=EN-US style='font-family:"Verdana","sans-serif"'>To commemorate their 5th anniversary of that operation, and the Teide National Park being added to the UNESCO World Heritage List, the team will be active as <strong><span style='font-family:"Verdana","sans-serif"'>EH8TID</span></strong> this time. <o:p></o:p></span></p><p><span lang=EN-US style='font-family:"Verdana","sans-serif"'>Operations will take place from the same location as last time: the La Rambleta del Teide, 3555m ASL, and less than 163m from the top of the mountain. The area is highly protected, and therefore; they are only authorized to use vertical and wire antennas and only 100 watts.<o:p></o:p></span></p><p><span lang=EN-US style='font-family:"Verdana","sans-serif"'>Operators mentioned are José Antonio/EA8ARG, Luis/EA8AY, Ángel/EA8BFH, Miguel Ángel/EA8BRW, and Francisco/EA8CW.<o:p></o:p></span></p><p><span lang=EN-US style='font-family:"Verdana","sans-serif"'>Activity will be on 80-6 meters using CW, SSB, RTTY and PSK31.
