O que o CT1JIB disse vai ao encontro do que disse, a terminologia PMR em redes profissional enquadra-se nas redes SMT e PMR446 enquadra-se no personal moblie radio, daí que a sigla PMR446 tenha o 446 sempre presente . <br>
<br>Até porque a sigla PMR para uso profissional já existe há muito mais tempo que esta do PMR446. Vejam catalogos das diversas marcas sobre equipamentos profissionais e vejam lá qual a sigla que aparece PMR Professional Mobile Radio.<br>

Pior, a legislação nacional não permite que os equipamentos PMR
tenham a possibilidade de ligar outra antena que não a de origem,
isto é, a antena tem de ser parte constituinte e inseparável do
transceptor.<br>

poderá ter muitas aplicações consideradas legais ...<br>
