</o:shapelayout></xml><![endif]--></head><body lang=PT link=blue vlink=purple><div class=WordSection1><p class=MsoNormal><span lang=EN-US>Time running out for ILLW entries<o:p></o:p></span></p><p class=MsoNormal><span lang=EN-US><o:p> </o:p></span></p><p class=MsoNormal><span lang=EN-US>With just weeks to the 14th annual International Lighthouse and Lightship Weekend, some 360 entries have been recorded so far from 46 countries.<o:p></o:p></span></p><p class=MsoNormal><span lang=EN-US><o:p> </o:p></span></p><p class=MsoNormal><span lang=EN-US>Many have already reached or exceed last year’s totals.<o:p></o:p></span></p><p class=MsoNormal><span lang=EN-US>These include Australia, Canada, Chile, Honduras, Ireland, Italy, New Caledonia, New Zealand, Philippines, Portugal, Romania, Saint Lucia and the USA. Most have further accessible lighthouses that are worth entries and participation.<o:p></o:p></span></p><p class=MsoNormal><span lang=EN-US><o:p> </o:p></span></p><p class=MsoNormal><span lang=EN-US>We welcome new lighthouses from Azerbaijan and the Lebanon. Among those yet to enter are Alaska, Cuba, Canary Islands, China, Cyprus, Falkland Islands, Hawaii, Iceland, India, Japan, Jersey or Channel Islands, Mexico, Panama, Taiwan and, Uruguay.<o:p></o:p></span></p><p class=MsoNormal><span lang=EN-US><o:p> </o:p></span></p><p class=MsoNormal><span lang=EN-US>Germany and England are among the entries late this year, but organisers remain confident that last year’s record of 447 can be met again.<o:p></o:p></span></p><p class=MsoNormal><span lang=EN-US><o:p> </o:p></span></p><p class=MsoNormal><span lang=EN-US>Included in the rules is a requirement to be at one of the historic structures and not a great distance away.
