<P><FONT face=Tahoma>Se trata de <STRONG>poner en marcha en 5 minutos</STRONG>
una <STRONG>estación de 5 vatios</STRONG> <STRONG>situada en cualquier
lugar</STRONG>. Esto es lo que van a hacer un par de radioaficionados holandeses
<B>del 4 al 14 de septiembre del 2010</B> en 20 y 40 metros. </FONT></P><FONT

<P><FONT face=Tahoma><B>PD55RADAR</B> </FONT></P>
<P><FONT face=Tahoma>Peter, PD1AJJ, y Elmar, PD3EM, estarán activos con el
indicativo especial <B>PD55RADAR</B> entre el 4 y el 14 de septiembre del
2010. </FONT></P>
<P><FONT face=Tahoma><I>RaDAR</I> es la abreviación de <I><STRONG>Rapid
Deployment Amateur Radio</STRONG></I>. Esto es un concepto internacional de
radioafición que implica ser capaz de operar en cualquier sitio bajo cualquier
circunstancia. </FONT></P>
<P><FONT face=Tahoma>El objetivo es poner en marcha una estación de
radioaficionado rápidamente en sitios remotos cualesquiera usando sólo energía
suministrada por baterías. Y cualesquiera significa no sólo sitios accesibles
en coche sino también en ubicaciones situadas después de andar unos pocos
kilómetros. <STRONG>El concepto 5×5 significa ser capaz de comunicar con una
estación de radioaficionado en los 5 minutos siguientes a llegar al sitio en
cuestión con la potencia QRP de 5 vatios máximo</STRONG>. </FONT></P>
<P><FONT face=Tahoma>Peter y Elmar participarán en el Fieldday HF SSB de la
IARU (4-5 de septiembre) desde los polders holandeses, cerca de los famosos
molinos de viento de Kinderdijk. Ellos utilizan sus Yaesu FT-817, lo que
significa sólo QRP, o sea que mantened vuestros oídos abiertos! </FONT></P>
<P><FONT face=Tahoma>El tiempo restante van a operar <B>PD55RADAR</B> en su
tiempo libre, que será principalmente durante las tardes.</FONT> </P>

Elmar PD3EM will be active with the special event callsign
<STRONG>PD55RADAR</STRONG> between 4 - 14 september 2010.</FONT></P>
<P><FONT face=Tahoma>RaDAR is short for Rapid Deployment Amateur Radio. This
is an international concept of Radio Amateurs being able to operate anywhere
under all circumstances.</FONT></P>
<P><FONT face=Tahoma><BR>The goal is to setup an Amateur Radio station quickly
on remote sites anywhere using only battery power. And anywhere means not only
sites reachable by car but also on locations after a few miles walk. The 5x5
concept means being able to communicate by Amateur Radio within 5 minutes
after arriving with the QRP power of 5 watts maximum.</FONT></P>
<P><FONT face=Tahoma>Peter and Elmar will participate in the IARU HF SSB
Fieldday (september 4-5) from the Dutch polders near the famous windmills of
Kinderdijk. They will use their Yaesu FT-817 which means QRP only so keep your
ears open!</FONT></P>
<P><FONT face=Tahoma>The rest of the period they will be operating
<STRONG>PD55RADAR</STRONG> in their free-time which will mainly be during the
evenings.</FONT></P>
