<H1>D-STAR illegal in France - update</H1>
<P><FONT face=Verdana>French Amateur Radio groups are working together to get
the digital prohibition in France lifted.</FONT></P>
<P><FONT face=Verdana>The French digital ham radio website (DR@F)
reports:</FONT></P>
<P><FONT face=Verdana>A working group has been created with skilled people of
REF-Union, ANTA, URC and DR@F. This working group will deliver to French Local
Regulator, a document showing digital state of the art for ham radio
communication, to obtain new experiment conditions and new rules to unblock
digital prohibition in France.</FONT></P>
