<H1>New EMC (electromagnetic compatibility) forum goes live! </H1>
<P><FONT face=Tahoma>With an ever increasing population of electronic devices
and seemingly ever decreasing market surveillance and Regulation, the need for
vigilance by radio users everywhere and of every ilk; amateur, SWL, broadcast
listener etc, has never been greater. </FONT></P>
<P><FONT face=Tahoma>Following the tremendous response to the PowerLine
networking information site </FONT><A href="http://www.plt.g7cnf.me.uk/"
target=_blank><FONT face=Tahoma>www.plt.g7cnf.me.uk</FONT></A><FONT
face=Tahoma>, Nige has observed the lack of a coherent lobby for those suffering
from more general forms of interference like plasma TV, SMPSU and other as yet
unidentified forms of QRM. </FONT></P>
<P><FONT face=Tahoma>There is a wealth of knowledge and experience in the EMC
and amateur community but even the most experienced occasionally come across
something they don't recognise so, for the novice and advanced user alike, there
is now a place to focus those discussions and it is welcoming new members.
</FONT></P>
<P><FONT face=Tahoma>The site is not aimed specifically at radio amateurs but
rather hopes to attract members from across the diversity of electrical and
electronic engineering disciplines in the hope of establishing a coherent,
friendly EMC community open to everyone. </FONT></P>
<P><FONT face=Tahoma>The board can be found at </FONT><A
href="http://www.qrm.me.uk/" target=_blank><FONT
face=Tahoma>www.qrm.me.uk</FONT></A><FONT face=Tahoma> and is colloquially named
"Don't QRM.me.uk".</FONT> </P></BODY></HTML>
