<H1>Ofcom extends Amateur Radio 5 MHz experiment until 2015</H1>
<P><FONT face=Tahoma>The UK regulator Ofcom has extended Amateur Radio use of
frequencies in the 5 MHz experimental band until June 30, 2015.</FONT></P>
<P><FONT face=Tahoma>Existing 5 MHz Notices of Variation (NoVs) where due to
expire on June 30, 2010. Following consent from the Ministry of Defence (MOD),
<STRONG>Ofcom now permits operation of stations by amateur radio (Full)
Licensees using specified frequencies in the 5 MHz experimental band until 30
June 2015</STRONG>.</FONT></P>
