<H1>Solar powered D-STAR repeater</H1>
<P><FONT face=Tahoma><STRONG>ON4BK</STRONG>'s D-STAR repeater
<STRONG>ON0CPS</STRONG> is possibly the first to operate entirely on solar
energy.</FONT></P>
<P><FONT face=Tahoma>ON0CPS operates in the Amateur Radio 70cm band with
439.5625 MHz output and 431.9625 MHz input. </FONT></P>
<P><FONT face=Tahoma>During the day there is usually enough sun to keep the
repeater going and charge the two 120Ah batteries which power the repeater at
night. So far the repeater has been running over a month on solar power
alone.</FONT></P>
