<H1>Belgium to New Zealand with 3 watts ROS</H1>
<P><FONT face=Tahoma>The new amateur radio digital data mode
<STRONG>ROS</STRONG> seems to be great for low power (QRP) DX working - just 3
watts was enough for a contact from Belgium to New Zealand.</FONT></P>
<P><FONT face=Tahoma>On April 3, <STRONG>Serge Delepine ON3WP</STRONG>, who was
running just 3 watts to a vertical antenna, had a contact with <STRONG>Bob
Sutton ZL1RS</STRONG> on 14MHz, a distance of 18,170km.</FONT></P>
