<H1>FM Rádio 'scrappage scheme'</H1>
<P><FONT face=Tahoma>The <STRONG>UK Goverment aims to stop FM broadcasting in
2015 but with over 100 million perfectly good FM radios in the UK</STRONG> there
have been calls for a <EM><STRONG>'scrappage scheme'</STRONG></EM> to be
introduced.</FONT></P>
<P><FONT face=Tahoma>The Guardian newspaper reports that radio Industry
executives hope that the idea will quash a potential rebellion among FM radio
listeners as the deadline for switching off the analogue radio signal approaches
in a few years' time.</FONT></P>
