<H1>Amateur Radio regulatory changes in Denmark</H1>
<P><FONT face=Tahoma size=4>Denmark has updated its regulations for visiting
Radio Amateurs.</FONT></P>
<P><FONT face=Tahoma size=4>The new Danish regulations apply to radio amateurs
who wish to operate amateur radio stations during short stays in Denmark in
accordance with CEPT recommendations T/R 61-01 or (05)06.</FONT></P>
<P><FONT face=Tahoma size=4>There are 3 Amateur Radio licence categories in
Denmark, A, B and D.</FONT></P>
<P><FONT face=Tahoma size=4>Category A is equivalent to CEPT Radio Amateur
Licence (T/R 61-01).(equiv USA Extra)</FONT></P>
<P><FONT face=Tahoma size=4>Category B is equivalent to CEPT Novice Radio
Amateur Licence ((05)06)(equiv USA General)</FONT></P>
<P><FONT face=Tahoma size=4>Category D will probably be equivalent to the CEPT
Entry Level Radio Amateur licence but that CEPT category is understood to be
still at draft.</FONT></P>
<P><FONT face=Tahoma size=4>The UK regulator Ofcom has not yet signed up to the
CEPT Novice Radio Amateur licence (equivalent to UK Intermediate) so only UK
Full licence holders are covered by a CEPT agreement.</FONT></P>
