emissions standards.<BR><BR>The Radio Society of Great Britain reports that the
European Telecommunications Standards Institute is moving towards requiring
commercially produced, ready to use amateur radio equipment to conform to
international standards for emissions.<BR><BR>As of now, the proposals will not
affect kits or homebrew equipment.<BR><BR>If such rules were enacted it would
likely lead to a price increase in commercially made gear sold in that
