<H1>Changes proposed for European 27 MHz CB SSB/AM</H1>
<P><FONT face=Verdana>The <STRONG>European Citizens Band Federation</STRONG>
(ECBF) website reports that the European Telecommunications Standards Institute
(ETSI) are considering changing the European CB Standard for 27 MHz SSB and AM
operation.</FONT></P>
<P><FONT face=Verdana>The website says that the proposed changes involve the
increase of AM power level from 1W to <STRONG>4W</STRONG> and for SSB from 4W
PEP to <STRONG>12W</STRONG> PEP output.</FONT></P>
