<H1>First D-STAR on 10m and 6m ?</H1>
<P><FONT face=Verdana>In a posting on the Illinois Digital Ham Group, 
<STRONG>Mark G7LTT/NI2O </STRONG>describes what may be one of the first 
transmissions of the Digital Voice mode D-STAR on the Amateur Radio 10m and 6m 
bands.</FONT></P>
<P><FONT face=Verdana>Mark describes his equipment as "2 Yaesu FT-8900 quad band 
FM rigs (10/6/2/440) and 2 of Satoshi's DV adapters".</FONT></P>
<P><FONT face=Verdana>So far D-STAR has been limited to the 2 metre and 70 cm 
bands, however, add on DV adaptors enable the use of rigs on other Amateur 
bands.</FONT></P>
