<P><FONT face=Verdana>The Japan Industrial Design Promotion Organisation (JIDPO)
recently announced <STRONG>Icom's IC-RX7</STRONG> Wideband Receiver as the
recipient of a Good Design Award 2008. The award is Japan's only comprehensive
design evaluation and commendation system. <BR><BR>The </FONT><A
href="http://www.icomuk.co.uk/categoryRender.asp?categoryID=3510&cCID=7809"
target=_blank><FONT face=Verdana>IC-RX7</FONT></A><FONT face=Verdana> was given
the award for its usability, ease of operation and its ergonomic design.

<P><FONT face=Verdana>One of the award's judges commented, <BR>"The IC-RX7's
Graphical User Interface is very user friendly and allows smooth access to the
necessary information... it's compact body and casual colouring lends itself to
its image of easy operation."</FONT> </P>
