<H1 align=left>IC-RX7 – Slim, Stylish Wideband Receiver! </H1>
<P align=left><FONT face=Verdana>The <STRONG>IC-RX7</STRONG> is a new exciting
handheld receiver from Icom. Slim and stylish in design, this new wideband
receiver will appeal to the serious scanning enthusiast and casual listener
alike. </FONT></P>
<P align=left><FONT face=Verdana>The IC-RX7 features a water-resistant
construction allowing it to be used outside in wet conditions. The IC-RX7 has a
menu driven user interface and intuitive controls allowing the user to scan and
manage their favourite frequencies. </FONT></P>
<P><FONT face=Verdana>The IC-RX7 has wide band reception of 0.150–1300.MHz which
gives full access to everything from AM broadcast to UHF TV audio. Listen to
international, national, regional and local broadcast radio stations, plus many
more interesting frequencies such as aircraft, air traffic control and marine
bands. </FONT></P>
<P><FONT face=Verdana>The IC-RX7 comes with preset memory channels. Select your
desired listening subject and, with the push of the “Scan” button, the IC-RX7
automatically finds active channels within your area of interest. You can easily
search for new active signals within a designated frequency range or fixed band
with a push of the “Search” button. The auto memory write search function
automatically stores detected channels in your memory. </FONT></P>
<P><FONT face=Verdana>Power on the go is easy, thanks to the IC-RX7’s ability to
operate from a variety of power sources. The IC-RX7 has a BP-224 Lithium Ion
battery pack, which provides 8 hours of continuous receive. An optional battery
case is available allowing you to power the IC-RX7 with 3 alkaline cells. You
may also power the radio via the DC jack with the standard BC-07 AC adapter or
use the optional cigarette lighter cable, CP-18E. The DC jack allows for
simultaneous battery charging while operating the radio. </FONT></P>
<P><FONT face=Verdana>With the optional cloning software, CS-RX7 programming and
cloning is very easy. You can connect up the IC-RX7 to a PC so you can customise
channel names, scan lists, and more. In addition, the CS-RX7 imports and exports
data in “CSV” file format, which means you, can easily edit the memory contents
with Microsoft Excel. A USB cable for connecting the IC-RX7 to the PC is
supplied with the programming software. </FONT></P>
<P><FONT face=Verdana>The IC-RX7 comes complete with BC-07 UK battery charger,
BP-244 Lithium Ion battery, antenna, belt clip, handstrap and a handbook.
</FONT></P>
<P><FONT face=Verdana>Ian Lockyer, Marketing Manager for Icom UK said, 'Whether
you are a seasoned scanner enthusiast or someone who wants to explore all the
interesting broadcast bands out there, the stylish, IC-RX7 has plenty to
offer.'</FONT></P>
