<H1>DStar Comms 1.0.55 released </H1>
<P><FONT face=Verdana>A new version of the popular D-STAR Comms software has
been released.</FONT></P>
<P><FONT face=Verdana>The new features include: </FONT></P>
<P><FONT face=Verdana>1) Manual Check for updates (will auto download new
version if there is a new release). </FONT></P>
<P><FONT face=Verdana>2) Beacon Start/Stop from main window . </FONT></P>
<P><FONT face=Verdana>3) Check smtp server settings. </FONT></P>
<P><FONT face=Verdana>4) Sound setting for Beacon sending. </FONT></P>
<P><FONT face=Verdana>5) Filter for Regeneration Nodes (Repeaters). Some of you
may have noticed that when sending text through a repeater the last 10 to 15
chars are returned to your screen, ticking this in options should prevent that.
This will happen with any chat style program but I believe this is the first to
apply a filter for it. </FONT></P>
<P><FONT face=Verdana>6) ID-800H model added. </FONT></P>
<P><FONT face=Verdana>7) Query all stations (If enabled allows other using to
send a broadcast request to all Dstar comms users. Dstar Comms will then send a
message to only that user with an online message. The transmission is set to
send at a random period between 1 and 15 seconds to prevent other users signals
clashing at the same time). </FONT></P>
